Okay, we’re going to admit right off the bat, this game doesn’t have the best review on Amazon, so buyer beware.  But we played a similar game in our younger years and found it not only enjoyable, but extremely competitive.  The Matty’s Toy Shop Deluxe Wooden Pop-Battle Basketball Game isn’t a new concept but looks to take an updated twist on the game.

A game meant to be played by two people, each person will be seated on opposing sides.  With the basketball placed in the center, the first player will attempt to score the ball into their basket.  If scored, the points will be added to their total score.

However, once the first player takes a shot, depending on where the ball lands or rolls to, the next player will have to attempt a shot from that location.  A really fun and cool concept, this game is sure to take up countless hours and will keep you and your family entertained.

Hasbro Gaming Foosketball Game

We’ll say this from the get-go, foosketball isn’t a real word and was made up by Hasbro.  But the Hasbro Gaming Foosketball Game is, perhaps, one of the most fun basketball board games we have ever played.  A combination of foosball and basketball, players will utilize the handles on their sides to control the Foosketball player on the court.

As your opponent attempts to shoot and score, you will control your Foosketball player and attempt to block their shot attempts.  However, not all shots are equal.  Rather, scoring with the orange ball will award you one-point.  Scoring with the rare gold ball though will award you two-points.  Score five-points to win the game.

Lifetime Double Shot Deluxe Indoor Basketball Hoop

Okay, we admit, the Lifetime Double Shot Deluxe Indoor Basketball Hoop isn’t exactly classified as a board game.  But nonetheless, can you really be a true basketball fan without an indoors basketball hoop?  This arcade game is large enough to allow for two players to play simultaneously and compete against one-another.

Shoot and score with the provided orange basketballs in as rapid succession as possible.  Although the game looks easy, it really isn’t.  The rim is significantly smaller than a regulation one and takes some practice on to become more proficient on.

Merchant Ambassador’s Electronic Arcade Basketball

If you took the Lifetime Indoor Basketball Hoop and shrunk it down to fit on your kitchen table, you would get the Merchant Ambassador Electronic Arcade Basketball game.  A simple game of basketball against an opponent, simply place the provided basketballs on the lever and shoot.

The purpose of the game is to score more shots than your opponent within the given timeframe.  A quick, easy, and fun game that nearly anyone can play.

Zobmondo!! GoHoops Basketball Dice Game

A true board game, Zobmondo!! GoHoops Basketball Dice Game will have you enjoying all aspects of the game without needing a basketball or a hoop.  Simply roll the provided die and see your luck.  Will you score a coveted three pointer, or will you commit a foul and lose points?  The game is extremely fast-paced and chock-filled with action and can typically be played to completion within 15-20 minutes.
