NBA Players Signed With Under Armour

In recent years, Under Armour, one of the newer entrants into the world of sports apparel, has begun signing major NBA athletes as brand sponsors.

And while Nike and their Air Jordan brand dominate much of the basketball landscape, from jersey sponsorships to on court shoes, both expensive and affordable, to accessories, hoodies, and gear, there are a growing number of NBA players and athletes opting to sign with other major brands, including Under Armor, Reebok, Adidas, and Puma.

Below, we are going to review the best NBA players signed with Under Armour, in addition to just how much Under Armour is paying these superstar NBA players for their sponsorship.

Why Are NBA Players Signing With Under Armour?

While, in decades past, superstar athletes including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James have opted to sign sponsorship deals with the likes of Nike, more-and-more athletes are beginning to sign with Under Armour.

But just why are so many superstar NBA athletes opting to sign with Under Armour over the likes of Nike?

And while the obvious answer is the value of the sponsorship deal, it actually goes much further than that.

While Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour are able to provide nearly an endless amount of sponsorship funds to an athlete, only Under Armour, as the newer entrant, is able to provide a more intimate and personal sponsorship experience.

As compared with the likes of Nike and Adidas, global conglomerates with entrenched markets, Under Armour does not have that advantage.

As such, they are forced to provide a more personal and intimate relationship with their superstar athletes, winning over these athletes with their customer service and personalized treatment.

Since signing with Under Armour, the Curry Brand has come out with a number of popular basketball shoes and has quickly risen in the popularity charts. However, one of our favorites is the Men’s SC 3zer0 IV’s.

Affordable, yet sleek, the shoe provides superior coverage over the ankle and comes in dominant colors which aren’t overshadowed by unnecessary flair or fluff.
